The BNP

October 28, 2009

Sorry Martin but the British National Party (BNP) is weird. Last week the BNP’s leader Nick Griffin took part in the BBC’s Question Time (a topical debate TV show). It was watched by 8 million people. Here are some good highlights:

The audience was extremely vocal in its rejection of the BNP and Nick Griffin came off as a ‘Dr. Strangelove’ deranged idiot. In all his bigotry he made only one point which most of the panel agreed with, which was that the Government has mishandled England’s immigration policy causing people to swing to the far right. Their recent success in the European elections was a wake up call for British politics and reminded me of Australia’s anti-Government backlash and support of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party in the late 90s.

A recent poll claimed support for the BNP has risen since Nick Griffin’s appearance on Question Time and 22% of Brits would ‘seriously consider’ voting BNP. This is very scary stuff. Luckily, two-thirds of the 1,314 people polled by YouGov for the Daily Telegraph dismissed voting for the party under any circumstances, with the rest unsure.

Russell Brand filmed a very interesting short documentary about the leader of the BNP youth, Mark Collette (who is now head of publicity). Russell befriends Mark during a World Cup match between England and Argentina before losing his cool and angrily attacking Mark’s racist and homophobic beliefs. Go Russell.

Finally, if there is any confusion in your mind as to what the BNP really stands for (ignore their website), then watch this insightful hidden camera BBC documentary.

Here is a short video of Wembley, home of English football. Filmed by a BNP member it shows the truth face of many parts of London that now resemble Islamabad. THANKS A LOT LIBERAL WHITE BABYBOOMER IDIOTS -YOU’VE DESTROYED BRITAIN IN 30 YEARS.
